Tantrums! That's all I have to say about that. Except I also want to say, I can't believe how much more gray hair I have because of them!!! Haha Aaahhhh!!! I'm going crazy! And you don't know how to tell me what you want so I'm even more at a loss. I love you booger. And I hope you know that I'm trying to understand and be patient. I don't mean to be rude to you. And they're big movements. All. Day. I love feeling them. But right now I just wish you would get comfortable and call it a night. It's 1:15am. When I dated Aaron I thought I loved him. And then we got married. And I realized I loved him more than I ever thought I could. Until we had Henley. My heart beats to the sound of my boys laughing and playing together. Aaron sings silly songs and Henley laughs. I fall in love with him over and over and more and more with every song he sings and every giggle that comes out of my little dove.

Happy Birthday Jesus!! I could go on for days of what I'm thankful for!! We are beyond blessed! Beyond!! Today is the day the Lord was born in a manger. Without this day, we would not be here. Without this day, our souls would be dammed to hell. Without this day we would have no hope. We would have no freedom. We would have no love. Or joy. We would have nothing.
A perfect little baby. Wrapped in cloths. Born in a manger. I am so thankful for Jesus. Happy Birthday my Lord.
One of my all time favorite songs is Mary did you know. (that your baby boy, would one day walk on water?! Mary did you know, that your baby boy, would save our sons and daughters!?) It's such a beautiful song asking Mary, the Mother of the Savior of the world, if she had any idea who she gave birth to. It's remarkable to think. And glorious. And we are so undeserving. Saying happy birthday seems meaningless. We worship you today Lord! Cleanse our hearts. Make us pure oh God. Forgive us of our failures. Lord thank you for your birth. And your death. And your ressurection. Thank you God for sending your son to be born into this world. Amen.

Little one, this Christmas was so special. I'm so thankful for your growth in my heart and in my body. You are already so loved. Hello little one. We are feeling good these days! I'm as happy as a calm being able to run errands and enjoy my days with you and Henley!

Henley you are so silly!! You fell asleep on Emmy's bed so she fell asleep on yours! Haha you Crack me up! I was taking your picture after you woke up from your nap. At first you were ok with it and then in a split second you ripped out your paci and stuck out your tounge Hahahaha you have such a fun personality! Some days are tough for us. And I hope to do my best. But there are days we both drive each other nuts! And there's nothing in this world I would trade those days for sweet boy! No matter what! I'm yours and you're mine and if we have each other we can conquer the world together! I love you with a fierce kind of love. The kind that says I promise to give you my best every single day. The kind that aches when you're asleep because I just want to wrap my arms around you and protect you from every thing in this world. The kind that will never give up on you. The kind that will make promises and keep them! I love you Henley Quaid! And I love your sibling just as much! I can not wait to see you two play together and love on each other and become the best of friends!

You are a wiggle machine! On Monday we had a sonogram and got to see your wiggly body! We're all so excited to meet you! We wonder if you will have my features or your daddys! Or if you will look like your brother with blonde hair and blue eyes!! I soo can't wait.
When we saw the sonogram the technician said you are a wiggle worm! She mentioned it a few times! Makes me think you will be a busy body like your brother! Who knows. Or maybe that's you just trying to get closer to me :) I hope you like to cuddle little one. I can't wait to snuggle up to you! The heart rate was 150! Last appt it was 142. The time before that was 160 something. Interesting!

I'm feeling good these days. No more morning sickness! wwooo! Thank you very much. I'm craving different things all of the time. Like all I wanted for 2 days were McD's spicy chicken sandwich. Not healthy but totally worth it! I can't get enough of Sour Straws. That's normal but lately I just NEED them! I'm back to drinking chocolate milk on the regular. I've had a few burgers lately. Not as much chicken or vegetables as I should be. I will do better. I love you! Can't wait to meet you and hold you!

Hi there my little Gummy Bear! We can't wait to meet you! We are almost halfway done. We feel you moving all of the time :) it's so exciting! Just 5 more months and you will be here :)

We have thought of a few names. For a girl we like the names Heidi and Meryl. For a boy we like Hudson, Hendrix and Bennett. We think they're all pretty cool names. So either way, you will be a rock star!

We hope you love the life we are making for you. You'll be coming into a house with 2 crazy dogs and 1 even crazier older brother haha but we will all love you fearlessly and aggressively!

Quirks of being you!

You're almost 13 months old! You have such a personality already! You love being chased. You think it's so much fun! And we love chasing you. Some times your daddy will pick you up and chase the dogs with you and you laugh and laugh! It's so cute! He will swing your legs out and touch them and you can't help yourself! You squeal and giggle! I love it.
You also really love showers. I think you love water in general. Any time you hear Tilly drinking water (because she is super loud no one could miss it) you run towards her and splash in her bowl. If you see any type of water bowl you always play in it! We have to keep our eyes on you ;)
You aren't a cuddler. Although you have begun to bury your head in our lap or leg or even our face haha You don't want us to hold you but you want to be close to us. I'm ok with that! I'll take what I can get. You're very hard headed. Any time we tell you no (like when you touch an outlet) you smile or laugh and touch it again.. and again.. and again. Even if we thump or slap your hand away. You think it's hilarious :( You don't quite understand that it's dangerous.
You absolutely hate diaper changes or when I try to put clothes on you. Taking your clothes off is simple! But putting them on for any reason is a nightmare! And I can forget changing your diaper. You scream and flip over and try to get away. I've learned to change you in your crib while you're standing up!! Haha I've become quite good at it actually! We even do it while you're standing in a buggy at the store (in the parking lot) ! While no one is watching of course! You're not big on me kissing on you or hugging you. But that's ok. You will eventually! And until then I will steal them while you're sleeping ;)
You love to throw stuff and clear off tables! Any time we have stuff on the coffee table you throw it off. Not to play with it. Just to clear it haha that goes for anything. It all gets thrown on the floor!
You're still grunting a lot. Haven't quite said a word yet. But you will! I'm hoping it's Mama! But I doubt it will be. More than likely it will be dada!
You're almost done with physical therapy. Ms Gina has been really positive and working hard with you! She says you look great and we can start going once a month instead of every week! Yaaay! That's so exciting! You're doing amazing my little love! I'm so proud of you and all of your growth! We love you so much booger!!!

Butterfly kisses! We felt you move little one! It was so sweet. We had just laid Henley down and I felt you move for the first time. It was light but I had my hand on my belly and told your daddy to feel and he did!!! They were faint movements and only a few of them but we felt ya! Can't wait to feel more of your movements as your grow!

Right now I'm feeling better. Not as much nausea but def still exhausted depending on what our activities are during the day. As of right now they're pretty light but I get winded if I move too fast to do something.
I'm craving sweets a lot. And I'm enjoying soda way too much :( I'm not eating strawberries as often but i still want them on occassion.

Mother's intuition

When I was pregnant with Henley I can remember sitting in the bath tub, enjoying the time I had to relax and I had a moment. I looked down at my growing belly and said "hey buddy!" It is a moment that will never be forgotten. And from then on I just "knew" I was having a boy. I told Aaron I would be super shocked if he was a girl. And turns out, I was right! Boy all the way!
I had another one of those moments. I was feeling good (no nausea) and got my 2nd wind of energy. Boxes still needed to be unpacked from the move so I decided to take them head on. It was late and Aaron was already in bed. I was only about 9 or 10 weeks and I got up, went to the boxes and with determination said "let's do this baby girl!" I have felt that this one is going to be a girl from then on. And if I'm wrong I will be totally surprised.
So... We'll see!!!
I'm feeling a lot better now! I'm not getting as sick when I'm hungry. And I haven't gagged or thrown up in a few days. Hopefully this is the new trend!

Birthday boy!!

Happy birthday booger!!! I can't even believe you are already one (plus 6 days!!)! You have grown so fast! You walked before your birthday! Which is super EXCITING! And now you won't stop! But that's a good thing! We love seeing you explore and check things out! You're constantly following the dogs around. You're like a little trex! You keep your shoulders up and arms out haha it's so cute!
Friday morning we got dressed and ready to go to your 1 year check up! It wasn't the most pleasant visit. We went to Dr Kapasi for the 1st time. He was nice. But you left crying your head off. He looked at your man parts and said it wasn't "detached" like it should be. So he pulled the skin back. You cried and cried. And then you had your shots :( I felt really terrible for you. I know it was tough my love.  But afterwards we met Daddy for lunch at Hubble and Hudson and you couldn't tell how bad your morning was! You were so happy to see him!  Lunch was delicious and we had a good time!
Afterwards we went to Toys R Us and bought you so many new toys!! You didn't even know what to do with all of them! Later we went home, cleaned up a little and Abuelita and Don Don showed up!! They came to celebrate your birthday with you!!!
So that night we got everything ready for your party!
Saturday morning me and you and Abuelita went to cousin Kinleys soccer game. Her and Bae was so happy to see us and couldn't wait for your party later.
We went home, got ready and waited for guests to arrive to your Wild Rumpus!
