To my Little Heartbreaker

To my Henley,

I love you my little Valentine!! You make my heart so happy! I love watching you grow and play and explore and just be a little kid!  I'm so excited to see you grow up but my heart hurts knowing time is going to go so fast! You're already such a crazy loveable kid and I can't believe how big you're getting.

You have such a personality! Ok so here's you right now. You laugh when we laugh without knowing what's funny and I love hearing you laugh! You love to eat!! I can't keep enough food in the house! You're constantly wanting something to snack on! You smacked your lips at a little girl and a grandma the other day! You're a little flirt! When I take you to the park you love going up to little girls and playing with them. I think you have a crush on just about everyone! Haha it's adorable and frightening! :) you are very persistent. If you want something and I don't do it, you get a little attitude and scream. It can be frustrating but I know you're just trying to communicate with me. Speaking of which, one of my favorite things you do is when you want something to snack on and I figure out what it is, as I'm handing it to you you laugh, squeal, bend over slightly and put your hands out in front of you while running away! It's soo stinking cute!! You get so excited and squeal and laugh! I love it!

You're my favorite little monster Henley Quaid!! I love being your mommy and I'm so blessed to have you in my life!! I just know you're going to be the best big brother! You will always be our number 1! I love you booger!

Totally frightening

Today was the scariest day of my life!!!

I had just given Henley some cookies to snack on. He was sitting in the living room on the floor playing with them. I walked to the kitchen and the next thing I know I hear Emmy snap at him and he screamed!! She sounded like she was tearing into him. She barked and attacked. We don't know exactly what happened. He could have pulled on her the wrong way or fed her the cookie and taken it back. Not sure. Either way I ran over to him, but didn't get a good footing, tripped over Tilly and hit my belly on the tile. I tried catching myself but landed pretty good on her and my stomach. Which freaked me out even more. So while he's screaming I start crying and beating Emmy and yelling at her to go away. I got on the floor with Henley and immediately called Aaron. I didn't realize he had been hurt until later. There were any real visible marks. But then I noticed some blood in his hair. She must have pawed his head. He has a pretty small gash and a few marks. But nothing serious Thank goodness!!
If she had she'd be a dead dog right now. We aren't sure if we are going to keep her or just try to find a good home for her.
Aaron rushed home from work and took me to see my dr. They did a sonogram and the baby is perfect!! No bleeding or leaking and my fluids are on track. Thankfully!!
I don't know what I would have done if something had happened. I'm so thankful my little ones are both ok!!

Tomorrow is my glucose test. We applied for a new lease at 2026 Treasure Mountain Dr. Hopefully we are approved and will be moving in the next 3 weeks. I've got this baby coming soon and need a house to bring it home to!! We are looking forward to being settled some where for a little while. It's not our dream home but we are working on getting there.
The Westwood home has been nice, but now it is time to move on :) plus it will be nice being closer to Sharon and having help with Henley and the new baby!

Lord thank you for keeping your hedge of protection around us always. For keeping both of my babies and myself safe! Amen.
