Gummy Bear

Hi there my little Gummy Bear! We can't wait to meet you! We are almost halfway done. We feel you moving all of the time :) it's so exciting! Just 5 more months and you will be here :)

We have thought of a few names. For a girl we like the names Heidi and Meryl. For a boy we like Hudson, Hendrix and Bennett. We think they're all pretty cool names. So either way, you will be a rock star!

We hope you love the life we are making for you. You'll be coming into a house with 2 crazy dogs and 1 even crazier older brother haha but we will all love you fearlessly and aggressively!

Quirks of being you!

You're almost 13 months old! You have such a personality already! You love being chased. You think it's so much fun! And we love chasing you. Some times your daddy will pick you up and chase the dogs with you and you laugh and laugh! It's so cute! He will swing your legs out and touch them and you can't help yourself! You squeal and giggle! I love it.
You also really love showers. I think you love water in general. Any time you hear Tilly drinking water (because she is super loud no one could miss it) you run towards her and splash in her bowl. If you see any type of water bowl you always play in it! We have to keep our eyes on you ;)
You aren't a cuddler. Although you have begun to bury your head in our lap or leg or even our face haha You don't want us to hold you but you want to be close to us. I'm ok with that! I'll take what I can get. You're very hard headed. Any time we tell you no (like when you touch an outlet) you smile or laugh and touch it again.. and again.. and again. Even if we thump or slap your hand away. You think it's hilarious :( You don't quite understand that it's dangerous.
You absolutely hate diaper changes or when I try to put clothes on you. Taking your clothes off is simple! But putting them on for any reason is a nightmare! And I can forget changing your diaper. You scream and flip over and try to get away. I've learned to change you in your crib while you're standing up!! Haha I've become quite good at it actually! We even do it while you're standing in a buggy at the store (in the parking lot) ! While no one is watching of course! You're not big on me kissing on you or hugging you. But that's ok. You will eventually! And until then I will steal them while you're sleeping ;)
You love to throw stuff and clear off tables! Any time we have stuff on the coffee table you throw it off. Not to play with it. Just to clear it haha that goes for anything. It all gets thrown on the floor!
You're still grunting a lot. Haven't quite said a word yet. But you will! I'm hoping it's Mama! But I doubt it will be. More than likely it will be dada!
You're almost done with physical therapy. Ms Gina has been really positive and working hard with you! She says you look great and we can start going once a month instead of every week! Yaaay! That's so exciting! You're doing amazing my little love! I'm so proud of you and all of your growth! We love you so much booger!!!

Dose of Baby K

Butterfly kisses! We felt you move little one! It was so sweet. We had just laid Henley down and I felt you move for the first time. It was light but I had my hand on my belly and told your daddy to feel and he did!!! They were faint movements and only a few of them but we felt ya! Can't wait to feel more of your movements as your grow!

Right now I'm feeling better. Not as much nausea but def still exhausted depending on what our activities are during the day. As of right now they're pretty light but I get winded if I move too fast to do something.
I'm craving sweets a lot. And I'm enjoying soda way too much :( I'm not eating strawberries as often but i still want them on occassion.
